I think I may be missing something, I assumed you were doing this for fun. This year I drove from Sheffield to Orkney (500miles) we stayed in 2 B & Bs on the way and 3 on the way back. I guess I’m just a soft old Englishman. 🙂

I totally sympathize with your road trip from hell, had one of those myself in February. It does however make the the vacation all the sweeter. Unless of course, like me, you were totally dreading getting back in the car for the drive home. Lol.

Insanity! That is where you would find me after 21 1/2 hours in a CAR. There was a big reason I became a travel agent, uh-huh, to FLY. LOL!

Lucky on that near miss. And what the heck? I think you hit the Wendi Triangle in the desert. Did anyone check for alien abductions marks? Gee, now I’m sounding like Spot. 🙂

I really hate long car trips, they are like torture. I am glad Jer didnt wreck or hit the deer. That is so scary to look up and see a big animal in the road. My coworker just recently hit a horse. It was not pretty but luckily she wasnt seriously injured. The horse died mercifully right after impact.
Poor Jack! I always get queasy in the back seat.
