I think I have heard that same advice. I’ve always enjoyed a nap here and there but hate it when I (or my kids) sleep too long and wake up hating the world and everything in it. Those naps aren’t very productive. =)

I know experts have recommended not napping beyond 3 p.m. and if you do nap, keeping it to a certain length. 20 minutes? Something like that. Anyway, if I nap, I either can’t go to sleep at my bedtime or I wake up at 3 a.m. and can’t go back to sleep.

Oh, it’s been worse…much worse. At least he hasn’t (so far) been getting up when the rest of us are already asleep. That fear is enough to almost keep me awake at night. =)
