I believe a weekly wrap-up of some of my favorites is in order.
Why? Because it’s Friday and I’ve had some favorites. I know. Groundbreaking stuff here.
Favorite #1: That I’m married to a hunky guy who doubles as a hairstylist.
Okay, hairstylist might be a stretch. But he periodically (and confidently!) removes hair from the little guy’s head. Sexy.
Favorite #2: Those lips doe.
Who knew that purple lips could work? Or maybe they don’t. But I’ve been wearing them for a whole week so let’s just keep our opinions to ourselves, shall we? But for the beauty adventurous types, this is Maybelline New York Color Sensational Vivids Lipcolor, Brazen Berry, 0.15 Ounce *** Love. Love. Love. My other favorite is Maybelline New York Color Sensational Vivids Lipcolor, Vivid Rose, 0.15 Ounce *** These lipsticks ain’t for the faint of heart. Obviously. I’m bringing you face girl.
Favorite #3: My little ones love each other.
Well, to be honest the little one loves the bigger one a teensy bit more right now. But she’s not recoiling in disgust like she usually does. FTW!
Favorite #4: Girl, your nails be poppin’.
I am in love with this cheap little nail polish, the NYC In a New York Minute Quick Dry polish in Ocean Blue. This is a limited edition color in the Samba Collection so you’ll need to look around. I found mine at my local Rite Aid. They dry super quickly, two coats will give you the opacity you need and they look good. Except in this picture. Apparently hubby’s the only one in the family with a natural talent for beauty enhancement. And I’m sure he’ll be super proud of that.
What have been some of your favorites this week? Did you stumble across the perfect recipe for macaroni salad? Have you perfected the Pomegranate Mojito? Maybe your kids are actually touching when they hug? Do share.
Happy Friday,
Mindy

First of all, I love that 3 out of the 4 of these pics were text to me before they ended up on the blog. I’m friends with a famous person!
Secondly, not *everyone* can pull off amazingly bold and beautiful lips like you can! For reals. Your lip shape is perfect, and the bright bolds are just right for your skin tone. I, on the other hand, would definitely look like a clown.
Third, I like that the first day you wore the blue nails, we went to the lake for a bit. Fitting, no?
Fourth, prettttty sure a few of my kids haven’t hugged since they were in elementary school. Boo!
And lastly, I believe Jer was supposed to come over and do the boys’ hair? I won’t ask again.
Ciao!

You’re too funny. And with your way with words, I’m quite sure you should be blogging too! 🙂

Psssshhhhh.
But I will say with the continual “asking for a website” before leaving a comment, is getting a bit pressuring.
😛

I agree with Camille, I’d look more Bozo than sexy with that lipstick. And as far as the love my kids share with one another, let’s just say that at least they haven’t resorted to physically assaulting one another. I’ll take what I can get. 🙂
