For this week’s “Photo” I pulled out a previously unseen (by me, that is) picture obviously taken without my permission, approval or consent. This photo must have been snapped while I was throwing back a Xanax because there is no way on God’s green earth I would have EVER allowed my precious, innocent, fragile baby girl to perch atop a gargantuous mountain of rock without wearing some sort of harness, protective head gear or at the very least without a giant mattress securely placed below said rock foundation to cushion any potential fall.
Gorgeous picture? Yes. Maternally vomit-inducing? You betcha.
Happy Friday!

I thought the photo was going to be the “dreaded photo” mentioned in your previous post…And, I will confess to being the mom to encourage her kid to climb on that rock for the photo….

The dreaded picture…Oh, God no. Not yet. :0) And I wholeheartedly admire your kind of mom. I want to be just like you. Some day. 🙂

Well, the risk might have been worth it for such a great shot. Maybe the photographer was tilting his head a little to make it look a little more steep than it really was. Yes, that’s it. Optical illusion. No matter how it was taken – it’s a keeper! Have a great weekend!

LOL. When my niece was a baby, my brother-in-law was always propping her up in precarious places and taking pictures. Then he’d send them to us and my mom would flip out!

It really is a great pic, even if it does pull out the panic in me.
