Apparently, preschool curriculum has advanced drastically since Avery attended 4 years ago. Jack, in his two half-days thus far experienced, has matured beyond my wildest imagination. He’s smart, witty and now bestows upon me little pearls of wisdom. If his current point-of-view is any indication, he’ll no doubt be a CEO of some huge corporation or wildly successful Captain of Industry in twenty-five years.
A glimpse into his psyche…

Jack: I had preschool today.
Me: I know buddy. Remember? I picked you up.
Jack: I know. I ‘member.
Me: Are you getting smarter Jack?
Jack: At what?
Me: At school?
Jack: Yep.
Me: Really? What are you learning?
Jack: Well, one super smart thing.
Me: Really? What’s that?
Jack: It’s not okay to pick your nose during circle time.

Yep. MENSA here we come. If he’s already realized that picking your nose isn’t an appropriate social activity then I can only imagine what’s coming up next.

Took me a post-graduate degree and a dissertation to learn the same thing.
Wow. I better start saving some more money for all the schooling he’s likely going to have. π

That’s our boy! I see a fancy calculator in HIS future!
No doubt…bright and sunny future for this one.

Gotta love Jack. Can he teach that to my boys?
Who knew my little man was such a fount of useful etiquette rules? Maybe he should start a blog and everyone’s little guys can start following it. π

Not five minutes ago I witnessed a kindergartner picking his nose and eating it. So Jack is WAY ahead of the curve here.
Charm and good looks…magazine cover material! Thanks for making my day; this is precious! He’s going to love looking back through mom’s blog one day and reading this!
Either that or he’ll write a book about how I humiliated him. π
Mindy
That. Is. Hilarious!!!

Wait until he learns that girls do not, in fact, have cooties.
For some reason, with this kid, I imagine it’ll be sooner than later. π

This is just too hilarious. I’m glad you’re blogging about it because it’s probably one of those comments that you could forget about down the road. Now you’ve got a resource to come back to in case you forget…in a moment where you really want to embarrass him.
